Kerry based campaigners welcome Cystic Fibrosis Unit for Munster

The announcement that a dedicated Cystic Fibrosis Unit for Munster is to be open next year, has been welcomed this week by Kerry-based campaigners for the unit. Joe Browne, who spearheaded the ‘Build for Life’ fundraising campaign, says a dedicated facility was never more urgently needed. He says the outbreak of Swine Flu in Ireland is a cause of great anxiety among those suffering from the disease. He added that it is vital that Cystic Fibrosis suffers be kept away from other patients in hospitals
