A date has been set for the oral hearing into the development of the Tralee bypass. It’s to begin on January 13th at the Brandon Hotel and is expected to last four days. It’ll look at the proposed development and the compulsory purchase order for the Tralee bypass and the Tralee to Bealagreallagh Road. There’s been a large number of objections to An Bord Pleanala about the 13 and a half kilometre scheme. The route of the project was changed in the past year to include a new section from Ballybeggan to Leith Cross on the N69. An Bord Pleanala is expected to make a decision on the case on January 26th.
