Aer Arann ditch Kerry Manchester route

28 Nov

Aer Arann may resume its scheduled flights between Kerry and Manchester, if the economy starts to pick up, a spokesman for the airline said today.  It was announced yesterday that the route was being suspended, as part of a major streamlining of Aer Arann’s operations.  The airline currently operates four weekly flights between Kerry and Manchester, but these will cease on January 12th.  However, Aer Arann Commercial Director Fergal Barry said he wouldn’t rule out a reviving of the route in the future.

This was an excellent route and a really good attitude by cabin staff. I have used it 4 times in the past 2 years and am really sad that it is suspended. I will now have to travel Manchester to Dublin then onto Shannon, a trip that it looks like taking me 10 hrs!
    Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
