Bowling alley to go ahead in Tralee

6 Nov

Plans for a bowling alley near Manor West Shopping Centre in Tralee can now go ahead, as an appeal to An Bord Pleanala has been withdrawn. Kerry County Council granted Bowling Buddies Ltd planning permission to change the use of Unit 2, Mile Height, Manor East, Tralee, from an existing retail warehouse commercial unit, to a family entertainment centre.

This was appealed to An Bord Pleanala at the end of September by Mary J McMahon, however the appeal has now been withdrawn, so the development can go ahead. It’s hoped up to twenty jobs will be created with the opening of the centre, which is to comprise an eight lane bowling alley, a reception and café, internet access, function rooms and leisure machines, as well as an equipment store and office, and public and staff toilets.
