Initial site work has begun on the Castleisland Bypass. The long awaited project is the only bypass in the country to go ahead this year and is estimated to cost 27 million euro. Preliminary site investigations are taking place and site offices are being set up, since last week. Work is officially set to begin in the coming weeks

I was in Castleisland yesterday. You can see the site office from the Killarney road, but there is no sign of the new road from the Tralee road.

Site offices are only being setup, it will be a few weeks before you see a start on that side of the bypass. Strange enough I cant find any info anywhere about structures going to be completed. I hope theres at least one overbridge being constructed.
